He studied journalism and media at the University of Damascus, and worked and wrote in the Arab and Saudi cultural and artistic press, in the newspapers "Al-Riyadh" and "Al-Youm" between (2003-2017), keeping pace with the movement of the Saudi film industry since its beginnings. Ali Saeed also wrote the script for a number of winning screenplays, such as (Green Lemon), (Compass), (Antidote), (Pianist) and others, he has a short film entitled (Old Phone Number) that won the 2021 Script Award at the Saudi Film Festival and was produced to be screened at the opening ceremony of the eighth session of the Saudi Film Festival 2022. He produced two feature films (Antidote) for the Saudi Film Commission and a feature-length documentary titled (The Story of the King of Journalism) and a film (Green Lemon) for MBC1, in 2015. He has three published books, which are: (The Leather Bag: (Health of Thinkers, Writers, and Artists), a historical book entitled (Al-Dana) and the novel (Konica 19).
