The “Obedient Sun” workshop
In this workshop, children will learn that God's satisfaction with them is the most important goal in life, to feel themselves obedient to Allah like the sun that rises every morning to illuminate the sky.
'The Jasmine' Workshop
In this workshop, children will enter the world of the al mihrab (prayer room), worshiping and praying for forgiveness for the purpose for which they exist, “worshiping and loving God”.
The 'Dragon Theatre' workshop
The focus of this workshop will be on teaching students that there are several ways to perceive a story or situation, as having a better understanding of other perspectives serves everyone in many different situations in life. Students will also be presented with stories representing the different viewpoints of the characters to provide better situations from a different perspective.
“Setting the Stage” - Do you think everyone likes the same stories? Does everyone feel the same way about a specific story? Do some stories help you perceive how others feel?
The 'World Tour' workshop
In this workshop, students get to make their own accordion books to take home to show to family and friends using images from the Masa the Elephant story. Using a variety of images from magazines or old photos as well as some plain white pages, students can also draw their own story images to recreate the story of Masa, or create a new and different story.
