Discounts up to 50% on all TCA Abu Dhabi’s publications at ADIBF
Abu Dhabi, UAE – May 1, 2014: The National Library, a division of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), has announced discounts of up to 50 per cent on all its publications for visitors to the 24th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair which runs at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre until May 5.
In an effort to motivate readers to own books and experience international cultures, the new initiative includes all National Library’s direct publications, as well as the publications by its subdivisions and sponsored projects such as “Isdarart”, the “Kalima” translation project, the “Qalam” initiative that aims at supporting Emirati writers, and the Poetry Academy.
The books and publications fall under several topics and more than twenty-nine categories including literature, history, general knowledge, languages, theology, politics, Arabic language, travel, arts, games, and children books among others.
“We are responsible for promoting culture and encouraging reading as an essential means for progress and human development. We hope that visitors to our pavilion at ADIBF can benefit from the initiative and expand their horizons from our extensive range of t quality books and publications at reasonable prices,” said H.E. Juma Al Qubaisi, ADIBF Director and Executive Director of the National Library division –TCA Abu Dhabi.
The initiative is an important step by the National Library to encourage reading and make knowledge a central part of people’s daily lives. The importance of the announcement at this particular time is attributed to the availability of all the Library’s publications at its ADIBF pavilion, which is a favourable opportunity for readers to find all the Library’s comprehensive collections in just one place, making it easy for them to find the books they are looking for.
