Cultural events, artistic pursuits, and family-friendly entertainment filled the 3rd day of the Al Dhafra Book Festival 2023, organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, in Madinat Zayed's public park.

The Festival's "Poetry Nights: Voices Loved by People" programme included a poetry and singing session honouring the poet Rashid bin Sindiyah Al Mansoori. The session included a discusstion with the poet moderated by Obaid bin Qadlan Al Mazrouei, as well as readings from the poet's most significant works. The poet Sultan bin Khelaif Al Tunaiji also took part in the discussion, with a musical performance featuring the artists Muaded Al Kaabi, Ali Al Blooshi, and Abdullah Abdulkarim.

Within the cultural programme, Kanna Mubarak, Certified International Trainer and Member of Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Centre, gave the lecture "Women: Overcoming Challenges and Inspiring Innovation", exploring women’s journey and acknowledging challenges, achievements, and resilience, beside highlighting their role in inspiring innovation and progress.

Workshops in the arts programme continued with a variety of instructors, including the visual artist Huda Al Hammadi, artist Fatima Al Hammadi, artist Rana Al Masi, and calligraphist Ali Abdullah Al Hammadi, among others. Participants also had the opportunity to draw with tree leaves, create artistic paintings on wood, participate in a "Mixed Media" workshop, and create Arabic calligraphy with glitter.
