Rana Al Masi, an artist based in the United Arab Emirates, has seamlessly blended her experience in multimedia art and sculpture into oil painting, resulting in a perfect fusion of her 2 passions. 

Immersing herself in multimedia art and sculpture, Rana embarked on a journey that allowed her to incorporate additional elements into this creative unity, expanding the horizons of her talent by using diverse materials on canvas, extending beyond the boundaries of traditional art such as cement, clay, and recyclable materials.

In these works, she conveys narratives that explore the depths of movement and formation in the world of sculpture, all in harmonious colours that connect the artist to the work.

Her inspiration comes from diverse influences of the civilisation and heritage of the United Arab Emirates. 

In 2019, Rana worked as a part-time art teacher, sharing her knowledge and passion with others.

In 2020, she organised voluntary online art courses to provide support to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2022, she participated in 3 exhibitions, including the Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, showcasing her work to a wider audience.

In 2023, she successfully obtained a certificate in art therapy, expanding her understanding of the therapeutic possibilities of art, which she uses in her work as a nurse and as a member of the Psychiatric Medicine Association at SEHA company.
