The session sheds light on the Arabic Language Youth Council's role in strengthening youth's connection to the Arab identity and culture at all levels, as well as attracting youth ideas, projects, and programmes that contribute to activating the presence of the Arabic language, whether at the level of creativity, or daily practise within the family, educational institutions, work, and all societal institutions.
Calligraphist Sarah Abidi will present a live presentation of Arabic calligraphy during the session.
Session topics:
• Youth’s role in addressing identity issues, based on the experience of the Arabic Language Youth Council.
• The connection between colloquial dialect and classical Arabic, as well as a variety of linguistic phenomena in the Emirati dialect.
• The development of an artificial intelligence model that automatically forms Arabic texts based on the context of speech.
