Al Ain Square - Hazza bin Zayed Stadium
At Al Ain Square, the Al Ain Book Festival comes alive with a rich programme for children, young people, and families. From school theatre performances and roaming musical shows to story readings, hands-on art workshops, and live cooking demonstrations, the festival offers a colourful mix of activities that spark creativity, celebrate learning, and bring the community together in a joyful and inspiring atmosphere.
The Stadium is an iconic state-of-the-art, technologically advanced athletic venue, constructed in accordance with the requirements of the International Federation of Association Football Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to enhance the UAE’s vision in football as the home ground of “The Boss.”

Qasr Al Muwaiji
Qasr Al Muwaiji hosts the Cultural Programme alongside the “Poetry Nights: The Sung Word” during the Al Ain Book Festival. This historic fort, once the childhood home of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is a striking symbol of Al Ain’s heritage and leadership. Visitors can admire its elegant architecture while attending cultural sessions and poetry evenings, immersing themselves in the literary and artistic traditions.
For more than 100 years, Qasr Al Muwaiji has played a major role in the history of the UAE. It represents a fine example of early 20th century mudbrick architecture.
It was built in the time of Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Zayed the First (r. 1855-1909) and his son, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. Later it became the home and administrative base for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the UAE, when in 1946 he became the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region.
Majalis Abu Dhabi
For the first time, Majalis Abu Dhabi - Al Ain City, hosts a series of cultural sessions in collaboration with the Al Ain Book Festival. The programme provides a platform to explore Emirati heritage, youth empowerment, and key social issues. It also includes sessions led by senior community members, who share their rich life experiences with younger generations, fostering intergenerational dialogue, reinforcing positive values, and contributing to the development of a cohesive and engaged community.
The Majalis were initiated to further consolidate the national identity of the United Arab Emirates, encourage community participation, foster social cohesion, raise awareness and develop a sense of patriotism.

United Arab Emirates University
In collaboration with the UAEU, the Al Ain Book Festival organises a series of educational sessions under the initiative “On the Path of Knowledge”. These sessions aim to inspire curiosity, foster learning.
UAEU is the first and foremost comprehensive national university in the United Arab Emirates. Founded in 1976 by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, UAEU aspires to become a comprehensive, research-intensive university and currently enrolls approximately 20,000+ Emirati and international students.

Kanad Hospital was established in 1960 by Drs. Pat and Marian Kennedy at the request of His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Kanad has always been known for their exceptional obstetric and paediatric care. They have the privilege of being the first hospital established in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, as well as the first private hospital in the Emirate to attain accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI).
