An Emirati academic and writer, Fatima Al Mazrouei previously served on the Federal National Council of the UAE, making history as one of the first Emirati women appointed to this prestigious body in 2006.

She earned her PhD in Arabic Language and Literature from Yarmouk University in Jordan in 2005.

From 1999 to 2006, she was an assistant professor in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University. 
Dr. Al Mazrouei is recognized for her significant contributions to children's literature. She navigates children's emotions through engaging stories and adventures while instilling national identity and positive values. Some of her most notable works include "Popular Songs of Children and Women in the United Arab Emirates," "Hind Loses Her Stories," and "Adventures of the Little Monkey." 
Dr. Fatima Al Mazrouei stands out as one of the prominent Emirati authors. Her literary efforts play an essential role in promoting national culture and providing meaningful content for future generations.
