What Is ‘Spotlight on Rights’?
Spotlight on Rights is an initiative that funds translating content to and from Arabic and digitising printed books. Through it, we aim to preserve the legacy of the Arabic language, foster collaboration between Arab and international publishers and bring the world’s best literary work to the region. Since its inception in 2009, the initiative has enriched the Arabic library with more and more books in various languages and formats.
Am I Eligible for the Grant?
Any publisher participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023 is eligible for Spotlight on Rights and can submit up to 25 applications for all the grants available under the initiative.
How Can I Apply for the Grant?
You can apply for a Spotlight on Rights grant via our online registration form. Please read it carefully and make sure you fulfill all the information requested.
