The Cultural Programme for this year is notable for the inaugural inclusion of new sections at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024. These include the "Book of the World" section, which explores the influential book "Kalila and Dimna" across cultures and history, and the Debates section, which is the first of its kind in the Arab world to be organised and conducted in accordance with the internationally renowned Oxford method.
In addition, our Cultural Programme will serve as a valuable resource by offering a diverse range of literary and cultural seminars. Notably, it will feature a focus personality, Naguib Mahfouz, who will represent the Arab Republic of Egypt, and will be discussed in depth. Furthermore, there will be poetry evenings, opportunities to meet notable figures in the book industry, as well as the Podcast from Abu Dhabi platform.
